The Role of HIV Therapy in the Treatment of HIV
There is still significant stigma around HIV. Some of those common reasons that y'all are all talking about was not even something that crossed my mind, like accidental disclosures and being in a reminder of their diagnosis. In our clinic, we actually do have a handful of patients that we've self-identified as great candidates based on their even logistic living situation. They managed to get them a bus pass or a cab ride to their clinic so they can come to our clinic. So it's been kind of an interesting twist to get some of those patients less likely to just take pills to bring them in for those visits.
