Anger can lead you to take action that can't be positive, but so often it's negative or harmful. Anger is very similar now as it was 1500, 1800 years ago in that it leads to actions that can be really harmful. I would like to posit that we've probably progressed at least a little bit. You are for me and for everybody listening this, an amazing role model because the fact that it took you until the last year to understand the potentially positive valences of negative emotions like anger has a real value.
