The Black Press and the Black Press in the 70s and 80s
There was the abolitionist press during slavery. There was the black press up until, I don't know, I think it kind of fizzled out in the 70s. And there's still some remnants of it left in the form of like, Ebony and Essence and the Amsterdam news or a few other papers. But it used to be like a very big and robust.
