Elon Musk and Peter Teal

Elon Musk is the grandson of a card carrying technocrat who fled to South Africa and apparently looms large in the Musk family lore. He emerged into the public spotlight at a relatively young age making his way to Canada and then to the US where he began a series of entrepreneurial ventures. The connecting thread through all these ventures is government money essentially a whole series of different ways in which government grants and tax breaks have been used.
