The Great Tree as the White Daffodil
Daffodown dilly is actually an archaic word for the daffodil. It goes back to 15 73 in english and means fragilistic expialadocius or something. Even though the sound of it is something atrocious, but that it is. So we get these godtrasts ar the great tree, the white Daffodil: hard as diamonds, softest moonlight yet,. warm as sunlight, cold as frost in the stars; proud like a mountain, but merry like a lass in springtime.
