"I feel like, you know, we're so young and I definitely want to find other ways to just help create ... solutions that will solve a lot of the world issues," she says. "It's always a lot more pressure being an islander because it's like if you fail, you basically fail your whole race [and] no one will ever get a chance is sometimes, unfortunately, still that mentality." She adds: "Just knowing that I have to do extra work, not just for me, but to make sure others don't have to deal with same struggles"
