Prisons Have a Monopoly on Legitimate Violence

Gangs have a monopoly on legitimate violence and that makes me think about the state right because the state in a way is exactly that. It's not an elimination of violence what you're doing is you're allowing one entity to have control over it which actually reduces the total. The only violence that's legitimate is that which is controlled or or condoned by prison gang whereas in other cases it would be the state so something like a warRight but if you didn't have states then you could have a lot more crime basically a lot more looting and and stealing and killing and whatever as there would be no way to enforce the stopping of that through police force.
