The way we treat the economy is this thing that doesn't serve us We're meant to serve it and it sort of becomes our commander. I was looking at moments much earlier in history of science where the economy as a circulatory system Gets constructed as a metaphoric and linguistic association. And so again, if we're thinking of ourselves as circulating through a larger whole Than that starts to naturalize and organ-assize These systems in a way that really gives them a lot of potency and primacy in the world.
