You Averted Tragedy by Luck

LZ Granderson: How many times have you missed tragedy by a matter of seconds? Have you ever had that? Hearts beating. You saw your two dogs starting to get irritable. You got in there and the nick of time you got them separated. Tragedy averted not leading a better life, not being a better person or anything like that. Most of risk benefit analysis includes a healthy dose of luck. LZ: And then you have the weight of our society which crushes people when there is a tragedy.
