Cultural expectations about leadership are more of a match with the characteristics we associate with men. With women, there's much more of an expectation about being warm and friendly, compassionate. Women face this bind where if they're forceful and very, you know, word something very strongly in a meeting, they can be seen as very competent but people don't really like them.
