The Stigma About Stimulants
Zellstrom, the new ADHD medication is reportedly available now as of the last week or so. Is there any reason that someone with ADHD would and comorbid depression would favor taking a non-stimulant over a stimulant? I think the reasons can be because they took stimulants before and they were activated by their primary care doctors who wanted to take stimulants. Stigma about stimulants has been around for 60 years; it's one of the most studied medications in pharma-to-payer period.
