The Importance of Following the Tradition of the Church

The resurrection is the foundation on which everything in our faith is built, right? Because if there's no resurrection, there's no Christianity. And we'll even see that later in John chapter 20, when Jesus appears to the apostles and he gives them the authority by the power of the Holy Spirit to forgive sins by his authority. Friends, that's a picture of this. When we're stuck in our sin, we run to the church. The guys did it. Even though they made mistakes, even though they messed things up from time to time, they were faithful with what Jesus had promised us.
