The chinese started rising after 19 60 in terms of economic development, and they will continue to rise at a rate faster than the united states. And we keep claiming that e we can deal with the chinese from a position of power. That means somehow you're larger than they are. But if europe is ambivolent, we are not larger. We are either equal or becoming smaller. For them to grow faster, they can just basically copy a large number of things which are already in place, and make them cheap. There is no question that china will be large in the united states until about two 75 when their population starts declining. They have alswered serious problems
