How to Start on Time for an Open Mic
Make sure you remind people to tip. Turn off music. If there's music playing, like bars are just doing what bars do or breweries or whatever it may be. Ask them to turn off those sounds so they have your full attention when you are giving them a show. Remind people to get drinks. And then start on time as well.
