John Avlon: Was it Trump's idea to only choose Supreme Court nominees that are recommended by the Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation?Avlon: I think because he was so utterly transactional, he was talked into this idea. He needed to get the religious right on board with a guy who has long a record as Trump does of being completely offensive to anything religious.
