As a kid, I was always shifting cultures. And so I brought a cultural lens to my examination of teams. What I started to see were very different cultures in high performing versus lower performing teams. In the higher performing teams, the culture would help the team become more egalitarianso that you'd hear more voices. There's a vast variety of different cultures that can work for high performance.
