What Is Apophatism?

Apophaticism is a way of explaining or communicating God's truth, which is not based on here's what we know for sure. So maybe that's even what you're talking about, about the unknowing. And so it's kind of focusing on what God isn't rather than what he is and saying, even like in our smallness, we're able to only understand the things that he's not. There's an art term for that: negative space.
