The President's Executive Privilege Claim
Pence has spoken extensively about Trump's pressure campaign to get him to try to reject the electoral count. As far as I know, I haven't read that book, so you'll have to correct me if I'm wrong either. The thing is that the privilege is just not applicable because he's not operating in a legislative capacity. And even if he were operating in an executive capacity in advising the president, he can't do that when it's concerning a crime.
