Is There a Competitive Market for Health Care?
I think that kind of the worst of all worlds, my intuition here is that it's the situation we're currently in where you sort of have this socialized cost for some aspects of health care. But then there's also this like privatized cost. And so instead of being able to have actual competition in the market for health care, we have this type of like oligopoly. I do believe that at its core, the government backstop within the health care industry has caused the rise in health care costs in this country.
