The Middle Ages

People think of the middle ages as violent, ignorant, intolerant and intolerable. So i'll explain more what those specific associations are. O, it was a violent world. There was a lot of raping and pillaging. Ah, there were horrific public executions, a extensive use of torture. And scientists who tried to counter the superstitions and dogmas of the age were ten persecuted by the church. The mediaevals had poor jean they smelled bad and didn't wash. It would have been a very bad time for women and gays. Finally, the middle ages were intolerable. They were racked by disease.
