Using Self Service Trials to Increase Productivity and Customer Engagement

A self service trial is purely what it sounds like. They reach out and they say hey I'd really like some help on something or do you have best practices on this use case in the product. At that point you're going to start a dialogue with that user that you may not have directly had before. And as we find ways to become increasingly more helpful to them, they'll naturally open up with the problems they're trying to solve. That's called an assisted trial. We measure we track these and measure the conversion rates differently.
