The dracular was becoming played out. There had been too many of the hammer dracular films. Christopher lee had done it too often. And so they needed to kind of pull the plug and do something new. It's sad, because i think karon casama was going to make a new dracular adaptation that's been kind of axed now. But there's one with luke evans isnd a desbraculato, whichs pretty bad, really.
