How to Move on From a Bad Shot
The most commonly requested thing from the players that I work with is I hit a bad shot. How do I move on? So the myth is just forget about a bad shot, but our brain is specifically designed to remember mistakes and errors because that's how it learns. This is also why perfectionism is not helpful for long term growth for us as it doesn't allow for error. If we want to get better, we need to allow for error and we need to be able to process and remember those quote unquote bad shots in order to do that.
