I think there're some people who are exhausted from the pendemic, but they feel a deep sense of responsibility for other people ri. And so just to even hope survive or to thrive through these increasing responsibilities, ia set off on ton a new quest. I wrote it because it's george eliot's sensationri, which is, what do we live for, if not to make life less difficult for each other? That was the why behind it. i'm cautiously optimistic that it will hit a nerve, and hopefully i've not been rubbish in writing the book.
