The History of Corfu

In 13 60, a fiefdom was created on the island of corfu. And it seems that many of the peasant laborers on corfu were roma. They were described as mechanics, smiths, tinkers and husbandmen. One of their distinctive customs was celebrating a great yearly festival on the first of may. It wasn't until 13 84 that earliest known appearance in the records occurs of an ethnonym with the route rome or roma.
