How to Negotiate a Business

The most important thing with all of this is to be transparent. You're educating the seller on a process that they would never have thought of unless they've sold a business before, which is unlikely. If you practise and you know roughly what you're going to say and you keep it formalised, you will make it easy because you'll always know more than they will. Get to the heads of terms really quick. We don't really get involved in arguing about prices. All we say to people is how much do you want? And by the way, you're not going to get that. So tell us about another one, pick another one.
