Dessa went back to doctor sherill olman at the university of minnesota and got back into the f mri machine. She was shown images of er x and also of her friend. When i looked at those photos, which had been very hard to see the first time, you now just hurt to look at somebody who you tried your hardest with, and it hadn't worked. Dessa said it felt like the benevolent feelings had risen to the surfaceand feelings of fixation and the less generous feelings weren't quite so present.
