Reputation and affiliation are gains in themselves. Don't just offer a simple solution to someone's problem that's good enough to build a business from. You'll find it hard to get people excited to tell their peers. Make people excited to be associated with you in what you're building. Have them crave to represent you and recruit their peers to your business, for you and free. That's what this kind of word of mouth marketing is all about.
