The Importance of Physical Defense

John Piper wrote an article saying he wouldn't defend his wife if she was attacked. He used verses and it sounded, you know, piotistic and smart or whatever. But the real point actually of that story is to see a living parable of what happens when a father feels like he's failed in his duty here. And I think a point before you even get to talking about the ethics of men stepping up where the state fails to do its duty, we just see how primal this instinct is since corrupted.
