I think the best companies are those that retain that founder spirit of, I'm just going to go figure it out and do what needs to be done. Anything that feels corporate to you as a founder should be a red flag. The guy they bring in is a you, right? And then while that guy is there, or that girl is there, they are the company culture sort of follows them. But if they ever want to leave, you can't replace the you with another you that would destroy everything.
