The Lost Cobbzar of the Ukrainian Poet Tarashev-Chankan
Ukrainian poet Tarashev-Chankan was a towering figure on Ukraine's cultural horizon. He is most famous for his collection of poems called Cobbzar, the traveling bards. His poems were kind of wistful and malancly but also resistance against Russian imperialism. There are streets named after him, squares, he's really, really big.
