Boosting Search Volume With Key Words

There's no point going after crazy high competition key words when you're just starting out. You do have to be pragmatic about it and go for lower volume, lower competition key words that your domain has a chance to rank for. Even ranking on the first page for one of those can be enough to boost traffic by an order of magnitude more than the con the traffic had come before.
