The Problems With Design Systems

The biggest reasons that design systems fail is that they don't take into account the environment in which they're being deployed. It really comes down to what, what scares people, what's motivating people,. What gets people raises, what gets people fired, essentially. If the design system doesn't address that issue, things are going to carry on. There was a lot, a lot more fight back of that than I expected.
