The Fall of the Roman Empire
When Rome fell, something great fell. And it cost Britain. The Romans were a good thing for the island. If a native of Chester and Roman Britain could wake up today, he would find laws which were in direct fulfillment of many of those he had known. He would have baths and plumbings. That must have appealed to him.
