Hannah Ritchie answers your questions on the subject of mammals. She says we know so much more now, and that's a good thing. But can we be sure that most mammals are rodents? We have around 6600 mammal species in total, at least the ones that we've identified and described. And rodents do make up the largest share of those - 40%.
