The Will of the People Is the Basis of a Constitutional Republic
In a constitutional republic like the united states, courts are not there to reflect whatever happens to be the latest opinion paul on any given issue. Many americans who believe that courts should simply reflect what they think is best for their country have no understanding of how law works in such a republic. Rigt: The public deficit in civics education means people do not understand even the old school rockhouse version of civic and civic duty.
