How Do You Negotiate a Deal?

In the first meeting, i would sometimes only show a teaser of the company. I wouldn't go into all the details, because i want to leave someone asking more. In the final meeting, now you're tiating for an investment. Butthe you're still not negotiating for all the terms. And that's where some of the competitive dynamic comes in. It was really important, at least in in start up fund raising, for people to get a sense that this was going to be a hot deal.
