Carrots Are Better Than Sticks
It seemed obvious that we should be offering more carrots than sticks to encourage people to apply. It never should have been the case that people's livelihoods were threatened in order to get them to take the vaccine. If you want kids to get vaccinated before you go to school, set up booths outside. Tell them the health reasons why it might be to their advantage and let them have that choice. You know, let people work remotely. Firing people is not good for their health. Not paying them is not goodfor their health.
