Folklore Is a Process, Right?
Folklore is about meeting the needs of its tradition bearers. Tale type and motif are building blocks of folk tales. Some motifs are just likeo grs or swan ring, which bird language makes me really happy. We apply this to contemporary legends like bloody mke in the mouse in the coke can suggest a larger scale cultural fear.
