The Allure of Countercultural Subversion
The allure of countercultural subversion is so great that, you know, even times like feels like it. So everybody kind of wants a piece of that still. I mean, in terms of the capital riot or whatever we want to call it, it kind of culminated in these weird kind of trivial gestures and just putting their feet up on the desk and stealing them. It struck me as a good example of just the sort of political dead end of a politics that is heavily focused on that.
