Scientifically minded people make the assumption that everything real and true can be proven with science, which isn't true. The assumption that a phd means someone is smart and knows the truth - you can have five p h ds and still not know the truth. There is no such thing as a scientific method; this is just a myth of culture. No one has answered the deepest essential questions of life because they can't be answered. You're just assuming that.
