BCAAs Are a Good Place to Start
BCAAs are typically very high in leucine. There's actually not a lot of data on this, despite a couple of early studies that seem to promote this idea that you retain more lean body mass while you're losing fat. It doesn't look like that has panned out either. So the anabolic and catabolic switches are not as simple as the anabolic all the time. Even mTOR itself has more nuance to it, given that there's multiple pathways in mTOR1 and mTOR2.
