In all religions there is this path of service. That seems to come as close as religion really gets to political action. The difference is where you do the service from. There are an awful lot of religional, religious organizations that do service like a will help the poor but it is a way that reinforces rolls. And when you identify with ta roll, it ends up being devisive and separates people.
