The Summary Statement of Scripture May Just Be, but God

Some say the whole story of the scripture could be summed up in just two words, but god. And there are very few things worse than being helpless, than knowing there's a problem and not being able to get out. So what does god do? It's at the moment that we were dead and helpless that god interrupts the story. God intervenes. Paul says that god is rich in mercy. Mercy being that he doesn't give us what we deserve. You can never fully understand god's actions without truly knowing his character. That's who god is.
