Why Is It So Hard to Fire a Bureaucrat?

There's almost no job in the executive branch that you can't reverse engineer these types of career paths for. And what they are is risk averse because they don't want to get fired. If they do something that the civil servants don't like, they'll start leaking on them. Their job performance goes down. So they don't wants to rock the boat. We saw this with people that work for President Trump, where they were just go along to get along. They're not one thing there's not one thing that makes decisions,. but they're mostly all in agreement.
