Manchuko and the Japanese Empire

In chapter five Manchuko and the Japanese Empire we see how scientists are first in chapter five engaged in avian imperialism. In 1933 a professor of geology from wasada called Tokunaga Shiga Yasu essentially carried out the first state funded expedition to Manchuko. The anornithologists themselves uh they um were active in producing a zoology volume, so this is kind of the leading cast of of characters including hachiska but also um takkatsuka and others.
