The History of the Saturn Program
The Saturn one had been the end development since the 58 or 59. The F1 engines on the first stage booster had been in development by the Air Force and they turned it over to NASA. When you talk about 1960s technology is basically where we were still in the slide rule era because when I graduated from Georgia Tech, everybody had what we call the slip stick.
