Leadership expert jeff sanenfeld says there's little correspondence between performance and pay. A two thousand 12 study found that american firms spend about 14 billion dollars a year on leadership training. But how good is the evidence to back up what they teach? And are there real empirical and statistical indicators of what makes a great ceo, or is it mostly just leadership mumbo jumbo?
