Ants, I always do at this point during the week and ask the unanswerable question. What's new and exciting in your world this week? Well, you're going to have to blame our listeners because a number of people have asked me about ranked choice voting. Proponents say that the benefit is that you get richer information because if no candidate gets a clear majority, it's possible that second best candidates might. Minneapolis used ranked choice voting in its 2017 mayoral election. The winner of that 16-way race, Jacob Fry, was the top choice of only 25% of the voters.
