Introduction
The bull market hit a stop sign last week as investors pulled back from their buying spree. Central banks around the world ratcheted up their rate hiking plans to stamp out inflation once and for all. Fed Chair Powell was on Capitol Hill testifying in Congress about why the US central bank will likely raise rates a couple more times before the end of the year. The S&P 500 fell 1.4% last week ending five straight weeks of gains. Do we fight the Fed or is the Fed our friend? So many questions, so many to address.
